More than 4,000 people attended the air festival LleidaAirChallenge

The air festival LleidaAirChallenge, held on the 5th of June has gathered more than 4,000 people throughout the morning enjoying aeronautical activities. More than 40 different aircrafts have joined in to celebrate this festival.

The festival program this year has strengthened the acrobatic content. The public was able to witness several patrols acrobatic performances, such as the Italian Blue Circe, AirMed specialized in aerial reconnaissance and airborne sensors capture data. It has also had exhibitions of microlights, gyroplanes, gliders and trikes as well as a reproduction of an aerial attack, with a historic aircraft, drones, and demonstrations of model aircraft and classic reaction by the Club of ‘Model Aircraft Segrià. During the morning there was also a zeppelin of 42 meters in length and 13 in diameter flying around the airport.

The festival has had a space of exhibitors related to the aviation industry, organized by Fira de Lleida. It also outlined a citation aircraft, a ULM, old cars and it has organized workshops for children related to the world of aviation.
